If you’re breathing, you have probably felt the weight of stifling fear before. Nelson Mandela communicates bravery well when he said,
“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.” Nelson Mandela
The Bible reminds us that God gives power to the faint, and to [her] to who has no might, He increases strength. Isaiah 40:29
The key to practicing bravery is not by masking fear, but to stare in the face of fear itself and proceed anyways. Do it scared. We have a savior king who is for us, and He is good on His word. God promises His presence, and His power when we are faced with fear. Use these brave moments to bring God glory by trusting Him for strength in your weak moments.
Now go on, daughter of the King. God has not given you a spirit of fear or timidity, but of power, love, and self discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7
He’s got this. You’ve got this.
“If God is in her, she will not fail.” Psalm 46:5
